Whereas many leadership presentations focus on leadership competencies and values (like character, integrity, etc.), this program will go a step beyond and describe behaviors that support and sustain those values. We will address the need to understand, recognize, and appropriately control/adapt behavior to motivate and “inspire followership in a fast-paced, uncertain world.”
The presentation will include a short historical perspective of leadership theory, current trends, and universal best practices – related mostly to behavior. The presentation includes case studies and anecdotes (real examples from organizations). The objective for the audience is two fold: 1) they receive tactical do’s and don’ts for excellent leadership and 2) they learn some behavioral theories to back-up the tactics.
The panelists will share best practices in leadership behavior from their perspectives. The program will cover leadership from the various perspectives of large corporate, mid size corporate, small business, academic, and global.
